  1. Hi All, I have just purchased a Denon AVR4308 to replace my aging marantz HT amp, have B&W speakers, the 600 series 3 in Sorrento. Want to go 7.1 from 6.1, which means selling the B&W centre back and buying 2 matching 601's to match the existing rear 601's at the back. I have 603's at the front and a big matching centre with a Triad SW. Anyone want to upgrade their 601's? Please help
  2. Great work! I think a range of great pound for sound DAC's would go down well, see you there
  3. I'm not sure 1.3 has seen the light of day at my place yet, I have a 1.3 capable HDDVD player(yes I know) but what do I do with all that extra 1.3 from 1.2??
  4. What DAc would you mate with a Sugden A21 SE setup with living voice speakers, FLAC files from a sonos system?
  5. If anyone has a recommendation for a good DAC to connect a sonos system playing FLAC files to a sugden hifi setup please let me know...
  6. Can't wait, i'm all over Sudgen! Class A was a revelation. A21 SE amp and CD with some Living Voice IBX and I was sold...
  7. I'm off to Hong Kong next week and might purchase an HD-DVD player. When are the NZ ones coming out and does anyone know when the Tosh HD XE1 will be avail here? Should I bring back the goodies??
  8. Both formats will coast along I reckon. NZ will see more local discs available for BD due to sony's marketing muscle, but HD-DVD fans will buy from Amazon as I have. Universal players with decent DAc's will arrive towards spring and then the war will be moot till devices like i TV take off... our snail like broadband permitting. NZ and Australia will be quite different to the states, mainly due to the people in charge of rolling out HD-DVD here backing both Pioneer and Tosh, surely the pretty sister pioneer which has a blu ray player will get the nod over it's sibling HD-DVD. However the picture, sound and menu structure and esp. U Control of the HD - DVD discs I have had a chance to view make it a better choice for me at present, at least for discs, don't have a player at home yet. Borrow my mates. Just a gut feeling, absolutely no science
