Harvey Norman have the 5495 on special for $469 . Looks to be the same as the 5492, has all the same specs on the box. Not sure about the ability to use an external hard drive. Mentions MP# playback only. Place was too busy to ask. It is a twin HD reciever and at the price of this unit it is hard to look at anything else. Mark
