With the EPG I have found that when you first go into it, it will show the EPG for that channel that you are on and all sub sets of that channel. If you want to see another channel, you have to highlight the channel and press OK, that will activate the channel and load the EPG for that channel and subset of channels. Exiting the guide will return you to the channel that you originally started the guide from. One bug I have found is with chase play. If you goto the file list and try to play the currently recording program, it jumps to the live location in the file. You have to press file menu and play it again. It then starts at the start of the file. Very annoying when you are trying to chase live sport. I have had to press mute first, look away then start it again. Is anybody else seeing this problem? I would also like the file menu to be able to be sorted by oldest file first instead of newest. I also have to remember to set the unit to power off from a timer record. But apart from these little 'quirks' I really like the unit and so far is running really well.

Yep, was one if the first things I did thanks. Another question, does anybody know how to restart a recording from the start that has an automatic bookmark in place? Maybe I have missed something in the manual or not pressed the right button, but I can't seem to start a recording from the start again unless I fast forward to the end. Thanks Pete.

Thanks Crusher Picked one up the other day, so far so good. As with all PVR there are a few little things that could be done better but will just have to get used to how Strong have set things up. Pete.

Hi, I have been looking around for a unit with features like the 5495A, but just have one question about the recording features. Does anybody know it if can you can start playing back a currently running recording? i.e If I was recoding (let's say the cricket) and it was a couple of hours into the recording, can I start watching it while the program continues to record. Thanks
