  1. Hi I need some help choosing my screen. I perfer a fixed one as I heard they are better value for money if you dont mind having a fixed screen. I have been looking on ebay at these ones ELEGANCE SYMPHONY FIXED FRAME PROJECTOR SCREEN 100 inch AURORA Fixed Projector Screen Velour Frame NEW FIXED FRAME 120" 16:9 PROJECTOR SCREEN PURE FLAT (Snowhite) 16x9 FIXED Framed PROJECTOR SCREEN 216x129cm 90 INCH (Selby) I want to have a 100" screen. The Selby one I will get will be the 108". The Snowhite one I am scared is a little too big. I am sitting about 4.5 meters from screen and have just brought an Epson TW1000 projector. Any recommendations on why I should go for one or the other? So confused. Thanks
  2. I ordered a TW-1000 from PriceJapan. Arrived in 3 days here in Aus. No customs duty. Very happy!!
  3. I am also considering one of these. I been reading threads all day but kinda confused. One of my major decisions will be the upscaling as I am running a 1080p projector. Firstly I heard that HDMI is basically passed through and not upscaled is this correct? How good are these at upscaling? I noticed a couple had the Faroudja chip which is supposed to be the best in upscaling yet others trash it. Thanks
  4. So the TW2000 also will not support P24? Is it possible this might be addressed with a firmware update?
  5. Yes I agree about having a local warranty. I am not so convinced that the TW2000 wont have an int warranty though (I thought all Epsons had one). Nice to see the price of TW1000 drop - I wonder if price japan prices drop accordingly
