I live in a townhouse so I'm not into loudness. What I'm interested in is audio quality.
At the moment, I've got an M-Audio ProFire 2626 firewire Audio Interface hooked up to my computer which feeds into a Presonus Central Station and out to a pair of Dynaudio BM6A (not the MKIIs) nearfield active monitors. My music is in AIFF file format. It sounds good to me BUT... I was offered a good deal on a Roksan Kandy K2 amp and a pair of Monitor Audio Gold GX50 Speakers.
I know it's awfully subjective but can anybody tell me if the new deal would be any better, sound quality wise than what I've already got? Has anyone got experience with any of this equipment?
