Klipsch RC-25 Centre Speaker

Description

Klipsch Reference Series Centre Channel Speaker. Model RC-25.  Finished in Black Ash woodgrain vinyl.

Speaker is around 9 years old and in excellent condition.  It was one of two centre speakers that were rotated through the main system for a couple of years until I found the time to build a DIY Centre to match my DIY front mains.

I was very happy with the sound, very efficient and great clarity, but once the DIY Centre was done, it was packed away as a backup and now needs to be moved on.

This speaker is a predecessor of the current R-50C, but the RC-25 has better bass extension thanks to the ported enclosure.  The front porting makes placement easier and allows the speaker to be used within a cabinet or shelving, which was one of my requirements at the time.  It's a reasonably compact centre for its level of performance at 52cm (W) x 16.5cm (H) x 23cm (D).  Driver details, etc. are in attached brochure.

The adjustable foot and original packaging have been missing since our house move 4 years ago, but if postage is required, the speaker will be very well packed with suitable materials.  When in use, I just had it sitting on felt pads.  I don't take any chances with my packaging. Weight & dimensions for postage estimate is 60 x 30 x 25cm and about 10kg.  The speaker itself weighs a hefty 8.6kg.

Pickup is available from Macclesfield, VIC, or from my workplace in Rowville.  (Auditioning is not possible in Rowville). 

I would also be happy to deliver within Eastern suburbs of Melbourne if required, & possibly further afield by mutual arrangement.
