I bought this amplifier here last year on SNA to replace an Esoteric F-03A, a legendary class A amp which cost several times as much.  This I-05 had a tough act to follow and to tell the truth, it comes very, very close.  

This Esoteric I-05 amp is the black version of which only 100 were ever made. It  has heaps of power on tap and injects dynamics into even low efficiency speakers.  Smooth yet detailed, lively yet not fatiguing.  It's one of those amplifiers that once in your system, you stop thinking about it altogether.  It just does its job and it does it incredibly well.

It is fully featured with balanced and unbalanced inputs, full function remote, flexible phono input (MM/MC) and balance control.  Build standard is absolutely first class as for all Esoteric components.

I have the factory packaging (in great condition) and so shipping is not a problem.
