Greece-based Ypsilon Electronics proudly states that the PST 100 Anniversary pre-amp was developed to celebrate the 30-year milestone since the company was formed. Its aim was to improve the performance of its SE pre-amp.

In addition to the SE model's specification and retaining the same C3m tubes, one per channel, and rectifier tube, we are told that the transformer attenuators in the PST 100 Anniversary are made with custom nanocrystalline core material.
Using silver wound nanocrystalline transformers at input and output is said to have "a special ultra pure topology in the active gain stage." Meanwhile, everything remains point-to-point wired with ultra-pure silver wire.

Furthermore, Ypsilon states that the new pre-amp uses "only high-quality film capacitors (no electrolytics)" in the power supply and also "very high inductance" double C-core amorphous choke filter.
Finally, the front display features Ypsilon's newest design, with large characters and selectable colours from the pre-amp's settings menu.
Further details, including pricing, have yet to be revealed. However, we'll let you know when they are, so stay tuned.
