American cable company, Wireworld, has chosen Acoustic Energy to distribute their range of professional and domestic cables in the UK. Wireworld offers standard, custom-length analogue interconnects, digital, optical, USB, ethernet, HDMI to power cables and distribution units.

This new partnership lands within days of Acoustic Energy moving into its new office and warehouse facility located within a quiet 500-acre farm estate located in the Cotswolds.

Wireworld began in 1980 when David Salz apparently realised the only way to discover what was being lost by a cable was to remove it altogether. So, instead of simply comparing cables, he began testing them against virtually perfect direct connections made by docking components together with custom adapters. We're told that the resulting knowledge from decades of these tests has led to several patents as David continued to develop cable designs that sound closer and closer to the ultimate purity of a direct connection.

Mat Spandl, Acoustic Energy's MD, told StereoNET:

We are pleased to be appointed distributors for Wireworld, a prestigious cable brand that will complement and enhance our expanding loudspeaker portfolio. We're confident dealers and journalists will be impressed by the sound and build quality Wireworld has to offer, which has led to wide critical acclaim from around the world.

As of today, Adrian Dykes, UK Sales Manager for Acoustic Energy, will be handling sales for Wireworld within the UK market and, with the AE sales team, coordinating with new and existing Wireworld retailers.

Congratulations from all here at StereoNET to both teams in this partnership and we look forward to hearing more very soon.
