Wilson Benesch A.C.T. 3zero Loudspeaker UK Debut

Wilson Benesch will present the A.C.T. 3zero loudspeaker from its new Fibonacci Series reference loudspeaker line to the UK public for the first time at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2023.
Wilson Benesch boasts its Fibonacci Series reference loudspeaker features the world's first Biocomposite VRTM Monocoque, the first Hybrid Tweeter comprised of Silk and Carbon Fibre, and the first, additively manufactured mimetic components that deliver near-optimal performance from both the Midrange and Tweeter. Furthermore, everything has been invented, developed and manufactured entirely in South Yorkshire, England.

In early 2022, Wilson Benesch presented and published the final results of a 4.5-year research and development project entitled the 'SSUCHY Project' and announced the introduction of next-generation Biocomposite materials technology. The new materials developed under the SSUCHY Project form the A.C.T. 3Zero Monocoque, replacing the previous generation carbon fibre monocoque. Additionally, we are told that the new A.C.T. 3zero Biocomposite monocoque is superior in terms of stiffness and damping to the A.C.T. Monocoque that it replaced.

The new A.C.T. 3Zero also marks the first time in history that an A.C.T. loudspeaker has been fitted with an Isobaric Drive System. Here the IDS is housed within the highly engineered three-part foot.

Joining the Isobaric is a low-bass Tactic 3.0, the new Fibonacci Tweeter and a dedicated Tactic 3.0 midrange drive unit which is directly amplifier coupled. Wilson Benesch states that this reductive approach to crossover design eliminates phase anomalies and aberrations.

Visitors to The Bristol Show will be the first to hear the A.C.T. 3zero on British soil. Wilson Benesch will also present some of the new core technologies and intellectual property developed in the new Fibonacci Series.

During its 20 years demonstrating at The Bristol Hi-Fi Show, Wilson Benesch has presented new leading audio technologies from across the globe, including Siltech, MasterSound, KR Audio, DS Audio, CH Precision, NuPrime and Chord, to name but a few, and we are told to expect reference electronics from another global leader in high-end audio at the Bristol Show this year.
