Who needs an “Audiophile” light for their turntable? You do!

When Reliable first announced a "turntable light", dubbed the UberLight Flex, back in 2022, my immediate thought was a sentence containing the words - fool, money, and parted.
Let's face it: anything aimed at the audiophile specifically tends to have a larger price than its non-audiophile equivalent product. However, the Canadian company Reliable, which oddly specialises predominantly in products designed for fabric care and sewing, may just be on to something here.

As we wrote back in 2022,
Recognising the vinyl record renaissance, Reliable Corporation leveraged its 17 plus years of producing task lighting to create this unique and thoughtful solution that every vinyl user will enjoy.
Having bought many variations of "flex" lights from cheap e-commerce sites myself, what was apparent was the high amounts of noise from the cheap and cheerful power supplies - the dreaded 50Hz hum (here in AU) and noise and static. Not so with the UberLight.

Its UberLight Flex product did what it said on the tin. And it's gone on to be enjoyed by vinyl enthusiasts worldwide. So it's no surprise that Reliable is back again, this time with the UberLight Frame, pitched as "designed for Audiophiles, by Audiophiles". Based on feedback received by users worldwide, the Frame version is, as one would expect, new, improved, and a more premium product.

With its sleek design, customised settings and touchscreen, the UberLight Frame was designed with one purpose: to help you discover and enjoy your music like never before. From inspecting the cleanliness of the record to viewing just the right spot to drop the needle, Reliable's precision lighting makes your turntable the hero of the room.

Made from durable cast aluminium, the UberLight Frame features a 360-degree swivel and 30-degree tilt. Three versatile options make mounting a breeze from a lamp base, clamp, or table mount. Couple this with an intuitive touchscreen panel or the convenient remote control; the Frame will deliver up to 50,000 hours of glare-free lighting with true-to-life colour accuracy. It features six individual light zones, adjustable brightness and temperature for the perfect ambience in your room.

Robert Kahn, owner of Reliable Corporation and self-confessed audiophile, told StereoNET:
The Frame is designed to complement, not overshadow, your stereo - beautifully framing your system without getting in the way.
Reliable has announced the UberLight Frame; however, pricing and availability have not yet been confirmed. Stay tuned for more details.
