Positioned within the company’s long-running PowerLine series, the SA-32 AE builds on Vincent’s established tube-solid-state hybrid approach, while introducing a revised digital stage and updated valve configuration.
At the centre of the redesign is a move away from the 6N16 tubes used in earlier models, replaced here by a combination of two 12AU7 and two ECC88 valves. The 12AU7 pair is placed early in the signal path, shaping the initial tonal character, while the ECC88 tubes are used within the tone control stage. The intent, according to Vincent, is to retain the brand’s signature warmth while maintaining overall control and linearity through the circuit.

Alongside the analogue stage, the SA-32 AE adds a more contemporary digital feature set. Inputs now include Bluetooth, coaxial and optical, as well as HDMI with Audio Return Channel (ARC) support, an increasingly common inclusion as two-channel systems continue to intersect with home cinema setups.

Internally, the design centres on a dedicated R-Core transformer and a selection of Wima and Nichicon components, aiming to reduce noise and maintain signal stability. The expanded chassis also accommodates a separate digital processing board, helping to isolate it from the analogue circuitry.
Vincent is positioning the SA-32 AE as part of a broader system approach, pairing it with the company’s PF-3 power filter to address mains-borne noise and DC offset, factors that can impact low-level detail and overall system performance.

The SA-32 AE is limited to 200 units globally, with availability expected through selected dealers. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
