Compact, rack-efficient, and scalable, the new platform promises to bring the French company’s renowned immersive audio performance to a broader range of installations—from high-end media rooms to DCI-grade private cinemas.
Trinnov CEO and Co-Founder Arnaud Laborie described the new model as a unifying platform, explaining that:
AltitudeCI makes Trinnov performance available to more projects than ever before. This is the platform integrators can rely on for every immersive audio project, regardless of scale, infrastructure, or performance demands.
The company says the processor is the first in its class to offer native support for Dante and Ravenna/AES67. This gives it seamless compatibility with both consumer and professional audio infrastructures. The approach allows direct integration with Dolby Atmos and DCI servers over AES67 while managing outputs via Dante without needing external converters. AltitudeCI also introduces a modular licensing model that enables integrators to scale systems in two-channel increments, starting from 8 channels and extending to 32, with a 64-channel option planned for 2026. Upgrades can be activated remotely via Trinnov’s extranet, maximising flexibility and ensuring systems remain future-ready.

In keeping with the company’s reputation, AltitudeCI includes Trinnov’s full suite of proprietary acoustics technologies. Optimiser provides precise 3D room and speaker correction across phase, EQ, level, and delay. Trinnov says WaveForming delivers unprecedented bass performance by actively controlling room modes for consistent results across multiple listening positions. Meanwhile, Remapping ensures accurate playback of immersive formats even in acoustically or architecturally compromised rooms. These features are delivered via Trinnov’s software-based platform with 64-bit floating-point processing, enabling reference-grade fidelity with long-term expansion potential.

The design has also been tailored to suit integrators. In a compact 2RU chassis, AltitudeCI incorporates eight analogue outputs, HDMI connectivity with four inputs and two outputs, and three independently configurable Ethernet ports—including two with SFP cages to support robust and redundant network architectures. Trinnov has also introduced a redesigned user interface with a guided calibration workflow to simplify system setup without losing the advanced controls demanded by professionals.

To complement the new processor, Trinnov is offering an optional Dante input board for its Amplitude16 multichannel amplifier. AltitudeCI and Amplitude16 deliver a fully digital AoIP signal chain in just 5RU of rack space, combining audiophile-grade performance with maximum rack efficiency. The amplifier employs the same high-performance DAC architecture as Trinnov processors, ensuring consistent signal integrity and dynamic range across the chain.
Soon Ong, CEO of The Clarity Group, welcomed the announcement, telling StereoNET:
AltitudeCI is truly a game-changer for the residential AV scene—compact, powerful, and designed with precision. What excites us most is that even with a simple 8-channel setup, clients can now enjoy the unmistakable Trinnov experience. Because of its modular design, we can customise each system perfectly to the space, from an intimate media room to a full private cinema. We’re proud to bring this to clients who value high performance and seamless design.

AltitudeCI will make its official debut at CEDIA Expo 2025 in Denver, Colorado, from September 4 to 6. The event will feature live demonstrations, full system walkthroughs, and a dedicated training session on September 3. Global shipments are set to begin in Q4 2025, and pricing will be confirmed soon.
