Topping, Dekoni, Plus Violectric Prototype Showcased at CanJam

Electromod is readying plenty of tasty head-fi ahead of this weekend's CanJam London 2024
CanJam London 2024 is almost here, and Buckinghamshire-based Electromod has plenty for you to try out.
Firstly, despite their compact footprint, the 12.5cm x 13.1cm Topping A50 III headphone amplifier and D50 III DAC bristle with functionality. The Applause Award-winning DX9 will also be available alongside the A70 / D70 Octo.

Topping's D50 III is the third generation of the D50 desktop DACs. It utilises a pair of ES9039Q2M chips to process the left and right channels independently to ensure high purity of sound quality.

We're also informed it achieves an extremely low THD+N of <0.00006%. D50 III features USB (Type-C ports for signal transmission and power supply), LDAC Bluetooth 5.1 support alongside coaxial and optical inputs, RCA output and TRS balanced output. It also sports a PEQ function that can be customised and set via PC, providing users with more flexible sound adjustment options.

Meanwhile, the A50 III boasts Ultra-High-Performance NFCA modules, using the same NFCA (Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier) module as the flagship A90D. Voltage-current hybrid feedback architecture and UHGF (Ultra High Gain Feedback) technology also promise excellent DC and AC performance.

The amp's high output current drive capability allows it to easily drive low-impedance headphones. Ultra-low noise of 0.3uV, high dynamic performance of 144dB, and no audible noise floor should also be great news for even the most sensitive IEMs.
Electromod will also host Dekoni Audio products with two new earpad model announcements for the Focal Bathys, Meze 109 and Sennheiser Momentum 4 wireless headphones.
The Audeze LCD range of planar-magnetic headphones has become legendary, and their Vegan earpads were a massive hit with users for their comfort and audio characteristics.

Audeze discontinued their Vegan pads almost a decade ago. Now, thanks to Dekoni, people can once again experience the added benefits and significant impact these pads have on the headphones they are equipped with.

Finally, you can get up close and personal with the prototype Violectric V101 (pictured above at High End Munich) and a static V324. Unfortunately, the latter is not quite ready to use, but we're told it "looks really nice". Furthermore, there will be other Violectric products to listen to at the show.

With the impressive Dan Clark Audio E3 (above) featured alongside other DCA headphones, there will be something for every head-fi fan.
CanJam London runs on the weekend of July 20-21 and is held at Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge. Visit CanJam London for more information.
