TechDAS Air Force Zero System Showcase World Tour
StereoNET has, of course, reached out for more details but TechDAS is holding its cards close to its chest. However, there has been what is noted to be a prototype version of the Air Force Zero spotted on the interwebs.
There is a disclaimer that the production model will no doubt differ, but the specs are rather interesting anyway. What is seen here are platters that weigh circa 120 kg, with the floating mechanism coming in at about 320kg making the total system around 520 kilograms. The drive system employs a three layer 12-pole outer rotor motor.
We have also heard rumours of a 390,000 euros price tag. Naturally, this is yet to be confirmed.

To mark the launch of this new entirely unprecedented turntable, Hideaki Nishikawa will present and demonstrate Air Force Zero at the Air Force Zero Full System World Tour which is scheduled as follows:
Tokyo
TechDAS Air Force Zero Launch Event in Tokyo on 16th March 2019. The very first opportunity to unveil the new ultimate turntable in the world.
Santa Monica
TechDAS premieres the Air Force Zero in the U.S. at The Audio Salon, Santa Monica on 9th, 10th April 2019.
Munich
TechDAS premieres the AF Zero at Munich High End 2019 on 9th to 12th May 2019.
Hong Kong
TechDAS premiers the AF Zero at Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show 2019 as the last event of the world tour between 9th to 11th August 2019.
Tokyo
AF Zero will be back to Japan and be at the Tokyo International Audio Show 2019 between 22nd to 24th November 2019.
