Inspired by the brand's Solitaire series, the new Criterion S 230 features T+A's Symmetric Directivity Design on the front.
Utilising two midrange drivers and one tweeter to concentrate direct sound in the listening area and mitigate reflections and sound impurities, the engineers have reworked the Symmetric Directivity System from the Solitaire S 430 and tailored it for the new magnesium tweeter used in the Criterion S 230.
As for the low-end, the Criterion S 230 speaker is equipped with the latest generation of MultiResonator Transmissionline Technology that builds upon the foundation of the MultiResonator and Compensated Transmissionline Systems from the previous Criterion series.
The MultiResonator structure inside the speaker is precisely calculated and resembles an organ pipe, maximising sound pressure in the low-frequency range and excluding sound colourations and inaccuracies before they can occur.

The Criterion S 230 is available in a satin matte rubbed lacquer silver, satin matte rubbed lacquer black and Makassar. All models are now available for order at €9,500, with deliveries to authorised dealers starting in April 2024.
