SMART MOUNTS FOR SMART SPEAKERS FROM VANGUARD DYNAMICS

Vanguard Dynamics has released the clever and intuitive VAIL Amp In-Wall Mounting Dock for Amazon's 2nd-generation Echo Dot.

The VAIL Amp is a slimline mount that can be flush mounted into a wall, adding a 60-watt amplifier and securely mounting Amazon’s Echo Dot.

The elegant design allows for the Echo Dot to be installed at the level of an ordinary light switch for superior voice intelligibility and easy access to its touch controls. A square finish plate cover provides the final design aesthetic.

It can power up to four in-ceiling speakers and enhances the features of the Echo Dot by providing a smart way to leverage existing whole house capabilities such as multi-room party mode, whole house paging and whole-house voice control.

Simply install the VAIL into the wall, connect the DC voltage inputs from the included power supply and amplified speaker outputs to loudspeakers.

The wall plate also allows for secondary audio inputs and subwoofer outputs for full home audio performance. VAIL Amp allows for either seamless switching between audio sources or ingeniously to play both at once.

The VAIL Amp is available on its own (add an Echo Dot) for $499 RRP, or additionally, the VAIL Amp System also comes with with a pair of FLC-601 high-performance in-ceiling speakers.

The Vanguard Dynamics FLC-601 in-ceiling speakers feature a 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer and use neodymium magnets to attach the paintable, rustproof, perforated steel grille securely. Specs include a 3.5-inch mounting depth, frequency response 50Hz-20kHz, 87db SPL, and
a lifetime warranty.

The VAIL Amp System sells for $799 RRP.
