Announced out of Melbourne this week, the deal sees AVOZ take on exclusive distribution for Audioflow across Australia and New Zealand, with plans to broaden dealer access and build the brand’s footprint within the custom installation channel.

Audioflow comes at the category from a slightly different angle. It’s not trying to replace your amplifier; rather, it aims to make better use of it, particularly in homes already wired with passive speakers. By connecting to your network, it lets you switch between speaker zones using an app or voice control, sidestepping the need for multiple amps in a typical multi-room setup.

That approach leans into a growing gap between traditional two-channel systems and fully integrated smart home ecosystems, particularly in retrofit scenarios where installers are working with existing passive speaker infrastructure. Whether that translates into broader uptake remains to be seen, but it does give Audioflow a clearer point of differentiation in a crowded multi-room landscape.

AVOZ's Matt Walker sees the appointment as a logical extension of its current portfolio, with an emphasis on strengthening dealer relationships while lifting Audioflow’s visibility across the region:

We are excited to represent Audioflow in Australia and New Zealand. It is a brand that aligns closely with our values, and we look forward to working with our partners to deliver strong customer experiences and continued growth,” said Matt Walker, Managing Director of AVOZ.

From Audioflow’s side, owner Hussein Jodyiyawalla said the move signals a more deliberate push into the ANZ market, backed by a distributor with established local reach:

Australia and New Zealand are important markets for Audioflow, and we’re pleased to be working with AVOZ to expand our presence. Their experience, relationships, and understanding of premium audio align well with our vision for the brand in the region,” said Hussein Jodiyawala, owner of Audioflow.

The transition also acknowledges the role of Jay Vee Technologies, which previously supported Audioflow’s development in the region, with AVOZ indicating it will build on that foundation as it takes over distribution responsibilities.

For AVOZ, the move adds another layer to a portfolio that continues to tilt toward integration-friendly solutions, as the lines between hi-fi, custom install and smart home control continue to blur.
