Offered in both 3.5mm and USB-C versions, Sivga Audio’s M260 mixes old-school portable-audio looks with a feature set aimed squarely at modern phones, laptops and handhelds.

Inside is a 14.2mm dynamic driver with a copper-ring composite diaphragm, backed by 16-ohm impedance and 118dB sensitivity.

Sivga pitches the sound as balanced and natural, while the metallic finish and exposed grille give the M260 the kind of retro styling that stands out from today’s sea of anonymous plastic buds.

There are two versions: a standard 3.5mm model with an L-shaped plug, and a USB-C variant that adds an in-line microphone, plus DAC support via a Realtek ALC5686 chip up to 32-bit/384kHz.

Meanwhile, a detachable MMCX cable also adds a welcome touch of longevity at this end of the market, where fixed cables are still the norm.

In a market still dominated by wireless, Sivga is betting there is plenty of life left in a well-judged wired earbud.

The Sivga M260 is available now, with the 3.5mm version priced at £39.99 | US$39.90 | €45 and the USB-C model at £45 | US$45 | €50.
