Ruark R410 All-In-One Music System Released

Ruark's R410 all-in-one system stylishly offers 24-bit/192kHz streaming, DAB/DAB+/FM & Internet radio, a phono stage and more.
The R140 is the latest integrated music system from Ruark, enabling you to connect and enjoy legacy devices such as a turntable or CD player; however, the family-owned British company underlines that this model has been designed for streaming and making the very best of the online music and radio services.

Inside the hand-crafted cabinet, engineered from sustainable woods that have been spliced, coloured, and recomposed to resemble slow-growing hardwoods, the optimised reflex enclosures within the cabinet provide ideal conditions for a pair of Ruark's new 100mm long throw NS+ bass mid units. These hand off to a pair of 20mm silk dome tweeters from the brand's MR1 speakers for high-frequency duties.

The drivers in the Ruark R140 are pushed along by a fully active 120W RMS Class D amplifier. Providing high efficiency and output with ultralow distortion, the compact form of these means they can be mounted directly onto the rear of each bass mid unit, keeping signal paths optimised and as short as possible.

At the heart of R410 lies a powerful processor capable of supporting the highest quality audio files and streams, including Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple Airplay 2 and Chromecast built-in, decoded by Burr-Brown DACs. This chip also provides a slick user interface, handling commands from R410's RotoDial controller and smartphone apps and promptly displaying the interaction on the new high-resolution 4-inch colour TFT screen. Additionally, a rechargeable Bluetooth remote is included.

Ruark's R410 is available now, priced at £1,299.
