The new line-up appears to be positioned as a clean-sheet evolution rather than a departure, leaning heavily on updated driver materials, revised waveguide design and a continued focus on how loudspeakers behave in real rooms, not just on paper.

Out of the gate, Performa4 arrives as a six-model line-up: two floorstanders (F346, F345), two standmounts (M146, M145), a centre channel (C245) and a powered subwoofer (B140), with matching MFS4 stands. It’s a fairly complete ecosystem, designed to cover everything from straightforward two-channel systems through to full home theatre setups without stepping outside the range.

At the centre of the update is understood to be Revel’s 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide. As with previous iterations, the goal is controlled directivity, managing how sound disperses into the room rather than simply maximising output. The claimed benefit is more consistent tonal balance across different listening positions, something Harman’s research has long prioritised through its double-blind testing methodology.

Alongside this sits a new generation of driver materials. Revel’s DCC (Deep Ceramic Composite) and MCC (Micro Ceramic Composite) diaphragms are designed to increase rigidity while reducing breakup, with the usual promise of lower distortion and improved dynamic headroom. That’s familiar territory at this level, but it underlines where much of the development effort appears to have gone, refining behaviour under real-world listening conditions rather than chasing headline specifications.

Read another way, this is less about a statement piece and more about resetting the range. Performa4 steps in for Performa3, but with a broader brief designed to work just as easily in full systems as it does in a straight stereo setup.

Pricing places the F346 at US$6,999 per pair and the F345 at US$4,999 per pair, with the M146 and M145 standmounts at US$2,999 and US$1,999 per pair respectively. The C245 centre-channel is listed at US$1,499, the B140 subwoofer at US$2,999, and the matching MFS4 stands at US$699 per pair. Availability in the US is expected from April through authorised dealers.

The Performa4 series will make its public debut at AXPONA this weekend, where Revel, alongside Harman Luxury Audio stablemates, is expected to showcase the range in full-system demonstrations. We’ll update this story as soon as more details come to hand.
