R_volution manufactures premium media players, audio video servers, and software "delivering the highest quality, outstanding performance, and the best possible user experience for home entertainment". The range includes media players compatible with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X.

At launch, only two products will be available: the PlayerOne 4K Media Player (£699 RRP) and the R_volution NAS (£2,699 RRP), an audio-video server/storage unit.

Currently, Pembrokeshire's Nexavision is the sole retailer in the UK and offers both models now via the company's website.

The PlayerOne includes R_video — which the company says is "the best entertainment hub available on the market, featuring a modern and fast user interface to explore your movies and TV shows". R_video analyses your video files located on a local disk connected to your PlayerOne or stored via NAS on a local network. Then, R_video collects the cover art, background and various information such as cast, director, release date, rating, etc. You can browse a genre, sort movies by rating, duration or release date. You can also read a summary or even play the trailer.

It is understood that R_volution has also released a paid app (with an ongoing subscription), enabling previous Zappiti product owners to continue managing their media libraries.
