Pro-Ject Spins a Tribute to The King with Limited-Edition Elvis Turntable

Marking what would have been Elvis Presley’s 90th birthday, Pro-Ject Audio Systems has unveiled a limited-edition turntable that captures the spirit of rock ’n’ roll’s most enduring icon.

Handmade in Europe and glowing with stage-light charisma, the Pro-Ject Elvis Turntable transforms the company’s acclaimed T2 platform into a fitting tribute to the King himself.
Based on the acclaimed Pro-Ject T2, the Elvis edition features a CNC-machined plinth with integrated, dimmable LED lighting that illuminates a bold ELVIS logo, transforming a functional component into a stage-worthy statement piece.

The design is part of Pro-Ject’s Artist Collection, a series that combines hi-fi engineering with cultural iconography. Previous entries have included the Peanuts-themed Charlie Brown deck, the Yellow Submarine tribute to The Beatles, the high-voltage AC/DC edition, and the aggressive, sculptural Metallica model. The Elvis turntable continues that tradition with a design that fuses Pro-Ject’s precision engineering with a visual signature worthy of one of rock ’n’ roll’s original icons.

Under the glowing façade lies a serious performer. The Elvis Turntable sports a 9-inch one-piece aluminium tonearm with an adjustable spring-based anti-skating system, a factory-fitted Sumiko Rainier cartridge, and a 10 mm, 1.7 kg glass platter that ensures stable rotation and low resonance. Electronic speed control allows for easy switching between 33 and 45 RPM. The inclusion of a premium RCA cable, dust cover, felt mat, single adapter, and power supply rounds out the package.

Reflecting on the company’s creative philosophy, Heinz Lichtenegger, CEO of Pro-Ject Audio Systems, said:
“Our Artist Collection has always stood for more than just visual appeal; these are serious turntables designed for music lovers who also want something that reflects their musical passion. The Elvis edition continues that philosophy perfectly, combining authentic Pro-Ject performance with a design that celebrates one of music’s greatest icons.”
Like all Artist Collection models, the Elvis Turntable is hand-built in Europe and crafted to stand the test of time — both as a collectible and as a capable analogue source for those who still believe music should move both heart and hips.

The Pro-Ject Elvis Turntable is available now, priced at £1,199 | €1,399 with additional regional availability and pricing to be confirmed.
