Pro-Ject's new Power Box power supplies have been designed to send a better class of electricity to your hi-fi components. For example, the Power Box S3 Phono (below) focuses on your turntable and phono stage with its "very efficient and flexible power filter". Meanwhile, the DS3 Sources linear power supply can cater for up to six source components.

Of course, these new Power Boxes are designed for Pro-Ject's own components covering a huge list, including various Phono Box, CD Box, Tube Box, DAC Box, and Bluetooth Box models, as well as many 15V turntables except the X8, Xtension 9, Xtension 10, Xtension 12, RPM 9, RPM 10 and the models of Signature line, with high power consumption and a heavy, mass loaded, platter.

The Pro-Ject Power Box S3 Phono is a new flexible power supply for all Pro-ject's 18V Phono Boxes and 15V DC turntables (except RPM5 and higher, X2 and higher, Signature 10/12).
Featuring linear voltage regulation, and low ESR capacitors, it promises to provide stable and clean power with a low noise power output.

Wrapped in a rigid aluminium casing, the Pro-Ject Power Box S3 Phono's two outputs, one for your turntable and the other for your phono preamp, are specifically engineered to power ProJect turntables and phono preamps. Pro-Ject states that clean energy "contributes significantly to the sound quality". Moreover, Power Box S3 Phono also offers a tidier cable solution.
Taking care of five Box Design components and a turntable at once is the Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources. Inside the rigid aluminium casing, this universal linear power supply consists of a massive toroidal transformer with shielding between its primary and secondary windings, acting as an isolating transformer. This reduces interference from the mains into the audio component.

Additionally, we're told that the built-in transformer has a much higher power reserve compared to the standard power adapter. Furthermore, the Power Box DS3 Sources boasts voltage rectification with precise regulation, a high filtration capacity (10.000 µF), and low ESR capacitors and low noise components with surge protection.

Both are available in black or silver with magnetic wooden side panels available separately for the Power Box DS3 Sources.
Pro-Ject's Power Box S3 Phono costs £159, while Power Box DS3 Sources is priced at £629.
