Meaning "all in one", the Allt-i-Ett is a network streamer, 300W amplifier, and speaker system, doubling as a soundbar thanks to HDMI eARC. It has its sights set on the likes of Cambridge Audio's Evo One, Naim's Mu-so, Ruark's R410, as well as offerings from Sonos.

Allt-i-Ett measures 150x690x303mm [HxWxD] (230mm high with the touchscreen up) and weighs 16kg, making it a fairly substantial device.

That said, it features six woofers (two front-firing, two rear-firing, and two downward-firing), two mid-range drivers, and a pair of waveguide tweeters. Additionally, there's a subwoofer out if you demand more low-range heft.

It's controlled via a remote or two touchscreens, one of which is motorised, allowing it to be laid flat or tilted upwards.

Primare's new all-in-one offers WLAN/LAN with support for AirPlay 2, UPnP/DLNA, Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect, Spotify and Bluetooth, including aptX HD.

Ins and outs include FM and DAB+ radio receivers, an RCA stereo pair and phono preamp, HDMI eARC, optical, coaxial, and USB-A digital inputs. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack and subwoofer output with full bass management.

The digital signal processing includes automatic room EQ and an 11-band graphic equaliser, plus BACCH 3D sound technology to create virtual spatial audio as well as settings for standard placements (Free Standing / Near Wall / Corner).

Primare is a well-respected brand for both two-channel and home cinema systems, so the Allt-i-Ett could upset the established players in this sector.

The Primare Allt-i-Ett will be available in November with a recommended retail price of £2,700 | €2,990 | US$3,500.
