Ø Audio is officially entering the UK and has appointed The Audio Agent as its exclusive national distributor, marking the next step in the company’s accelerating international expansion.
We kept going back to listen to the Ø Audio Verdande speakers (above) powered by fellow Norwegian amplification brand Electrocompaniet at High End Munich. So, for UK audio fans who were also won over by the captivating speakers, it is about to get much easier to audition Ø Audio models.

The Audio Agent’s appointment establishes a dedicated UK platform for dealer development, customer demonstrations, and long-term brand growth in one of the world’s most influential hi-fi markets.
Ø Audio loudspeakers are engineered around a clear philosophy: high-impact musical realism, uncompromising build quality, and a distinctive Scandinavian industrial identity that stands apart from traditional loudspeaker conventions.
Jonathan Cook, Co-Founder of Ø Audio, told StereoNET:
The UK is a strategic market for us. We are entering it at a time when the brand is expanding internationally at a significant pace, and partnering with The Audio Agent ensures that the rollout will be done properly — with the right dealers, the right demonstrations, and long-term market commitment.

Matt Peddle, The Audio Agent, adds:
This is a genuinely exciting launch. Ø Audio is one of the few brands that immediately feels different when you hear it. The performance, the design, and the attitude make a strong statement, and we’re proud to bring the brand to the UK with full national support from day one.
Under the agreement, the audio agent will manage all UK distribution activities, including dealer partnerships, marketing, training, and after-sales service.
We expect the initial stock to arrive soon and be introduced to build a network of specialist retailers. We are told to expect a number of events across The Audio Agent’s dealer network, which will predominantly feature Ø Audio’s Frigg 02 and Icon 12 loudspeaker models.

The Icon 12 features a 12-inch ultra-linear, long-stroke extended-range woofer working in concert with a Quad Vertex Sound Field constant-directivity horn coupled to a 3.4-inch carbon fibre diaphragm horn driver.
Meanwhile, the Frigg 02 is a slightly more conventional-looking 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker. It’s a no-nonsense design meticulously developed and crafted to take on even more expensive competitors.

UK pricing is £12,995 for the Frigg 02, £19,995 for the Icon 12, and £32,995 for the range-topping Verdande.
