Building on the acclaimed legacy of the original models, the new V2 editions deliver updated digital architecture, refined sonic performance, and enhanced connectivity, while staying true to NAD’s mission of accessible high-fidelity innovation.

According to the Canadian audio brand, the new M33 V2 introduces a raft of upgrades, including MQA Labs’ FOQUS and QRONO technologies, the latest ESS SABRE ES9039PRO DAC, and next-gen Purifi Eigentakt amplifier modules. These advancements, NAD says, address not just measurable distortion but also psychoacoustic timing issues—the subtle delays and smearing that affect how listeners perceive music's timing and emotional impact.

Cas Oostvogel, Product Manager for NAD, speaking to StereoNET commented:

NAD is the first company to address psychoacoustic timing issues along the entire signal path. With the M33 V2, we’ve eliminated distortion not just in the traditional sense, but in the way human ears perceive sound timing.

The M33 V2 also includes Dirac Live Bass Control readiness, improved subwoofer output level, balanced pre-outs, and full support for BluOS streaming, HDMI eARC, Apple AirPlay 2, and aptX HD Bluetooth. Smart home integration is also baked in, making the amplifier as system-savvy as it is sonically ambitious.

Joining it is the updated M23 V2 Stereo Power Amplifier. Rated at 200W per channel into 8 ohms, or up to 700W in bridged mono mode, it features updated Eigentakt circuitry, balanced and single-ended inputs, and a new 12V trigger output with timed delay—ideal for multi-amp configurations and avoiding surge spikes. The amplifier is designed to pair seamlessly with the M33 V2 or M66 preamp for a full-stack Masters Series system.

Both components share a sleek aluminium chassis with magnetic iso-point feet and a design ethos that prioritises musical transparency and engineering elegance. NAD says its goal with the Masters Series remains unchanged: benchmark performance without boutique pricing.

The NAD M33 V2 and M23 V2 will be available from August 11, 2025 with pricing we’ve been able to confirm so far as follows:
M33 V2: US$5,999 / £4,999 / €6,499
M23 V2: US$3,999 / £3,499 / €4,499
