MSB DACs Firmware Update

MSB DAC Firmware Update Improves DSD and PCM Playback
Your MSB Discrete or Premier DAC now has software update 17.14 waiting to be installed. The new firmware will hand your DAC and ProUSB improved 8X DSD playback as well as enhanced performance of ultra-rate PCM playback.
The Silicon Valley-based hi-fi manufacturer says that those who are still running software older than 16.13 should definitely grab the update.
Additionally, MSB has released a new driver for all of its USB interfaces. The new driver is needed for the latest version of Windows. However, we are told that this update is for support only and won't add any new features. That said, it is generally best practice to keep your drivers as well as firmware up to date.
MSB has a list for each model of USB as the files are not interchangeable and are not compatible with the other types of USB models. So, best be careful when selecting the required firmware file.
A guide for updating your DAC is here, and all you need to know about that USB driver update can be found here.
