Comprising the № 626 Dual-Monaural Preamplifier, № 632 Dual-Monaural Amplifier, and the top-tier № 631 Monaural Amplifier, the new models mark a bold new chapter in the brand’s five-decade legacy of high-fidelity excellence.

Speaking to StereoNET at the event, Jim Garrett, Senior Director of Product Strategy and Planning at HARMAN Luxury Audio, described the 600 Series as “more than technical excellence — it’s about capturing the emotion, power, and nuance of a musical performance with breathtaking clarity.” He added that the new lineup “pays tribute to our legacy while setting out to exceed the expectations of the most discerning listeners.”
Designed, engineered, and assembled in the USA, each model is based on Mark Levinson’s proprietary Pure Path circuit philosophy and wrapped in the brand’s latest Tectonic industrial design—machined aluminium, glowing red signature lighting, and volcanic glass elements all underscore the visual drama. This high-end hi-fi is built to make a statement before a note is played.

At the centre of the new range is the № 626 Dual-Monaural Preamplifier. It combines a fully balanced analogue architecture with a high-performance digital core centred around the Precision Link III DAC. With support for up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and native DSD via six digital inputs, the № 626 is ready for both legacy and next-gen sources. It also features a Pure Phono MM/MC stage and Class A headphone amplifier, offering broad compatibility in a chassis built for isolation, stability, and sonic purity.
For amplification duties, the № 632 and № 631 are designed to deliver unrelenting power with grace. The № 632 offers dual-mono operation in a stereo format, while the flagship № 631 is a dedicated monaural amplifier engineered to drive the most demanding loudspeakers with full authority. Both amplifiers operate in Class A/AB, leveraging high-capacity toroidal power supplies and fully balanced signal paths to achieve Mark Levinson’s trademark resolution and dynamic range. The company says these amplifiers deliver music with dimensionality, tonal depth, and impact that leaves nothing behind.

The Mark Levinson 600 Series made its world debut at HARMAN’s “Summit of Sound” event during the opening day of HIGH END Munich 2025, held in Atrium 4.1, Room E119. A keynote, exclusive listening sessions, and a private reception gave attendees a first-hand experience of the new range in action.
