KEN DWYER & CONNECTED MEDIA LANDS BLUESOUND PROFESSIONAL

Industry stalwart Ken Dwyer and his newly formed distribution company, Connected Media, have been appointed the distribution rights to Bluesound Professional and its range of products in Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney (AU) and Wellington (NZ), Connected Media says "it aims to represent a tight, carefully chosen group of innovative, differentiated suppliers to allow it to offer modern solutions to its customers."
While Bluesound, the multi-room wireless audio brand needs no introduction, Bluesound Professional is a premium distributed audio ecosystem that is a fusion of hardware and software that is purpose-built and designed specifically for commercial spaces.
The Bluesound Professional range includes a full suite of products including two streamers, two amplifiers, a powered speaker, a control panel, and rack-mount accessories.
Intended for use in bars, hotels, cafes and other commercial spaces, the devices discover and interface with each other. Using the BluOS Controller App for desktops and smart devices, a new Bluesound Professional wall mount controller, or one of the popular control systems integrated with BluOS, installers can then configure a nearly limitless number of
zones of streamed audio content from a variety of sources, including commercially-licensed music from SoundMachine.
Graeme Harrison, Vice-President and General Manager of Bluesound Professional, told StereoNET:
We believe in creating an ecosystem that optimizes versatility and ease of installation, and therefore the use of PoE combined with the powerful processing capabilities of the BluOS distributed audio platform is core to our next release of products.

Gerrit Ryan, General Manager of Connected Media Australia, added:
The flexibility that the Bluesound Professional product line offers commercial integrators is unparalleled,
The appointment of Connected Media in Australia and New Zealand is one of Lenbrook's first distribution partners for Bluesound Professional, joining recently announced appointments including Switzerland and Germany.
The Bluesound Professional range will be officially launched in late 2019 and for more information visit Bluesound Professional.
