JBL Releases Tour ONE M3 Headphones With Unrivalled Connectivity

JBL has used the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas to unveil its latest Tour ONE M3 headphones, which feature a new audio transmitter dongle that promises unmatched connectivity.
According to the company, the JBL Tour ONE M3 pushes the boundaries of what high-performance over-ear headphones can achieve, combining lossless audio, Hi-Res Bluetooth, and advanced True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0.

What sets the Tour ONE M3 apart from others, however, is the inclusion of the JBL SMART Tx, a JBL-first in over-ear headphones. The SMART Tx is a small, touch-screen wireless audio transmitter, enabling Everywhere Entertainment from any USB-C or analog audio source such as an inflight entertainment system, PC, tablet or television. The direct proprietary wireless connection between transmitter and the headphones improves latency, stability and call quality, making it the perfect pairing for any audio content form, wherever listeners are.
This addition allows the Tour ONE M3 to be fully device, source and content agnostic, breaking the barrier of what wireless headphones can connect to and playback from. The audio transmitter also provides full control of the headphones' features, offering users seamless control over music playback, call management, EQ Settings, and the ability to broadcast any audio source to an unlimited amount of Auracast™ enabled devices.
Carsten Olesen, President Consumer Audio at HARMAN, told StereoNET:
The JBL Tour ONE M3 represents a groundbreaking step forward in audio innovation. With the introduction of JBL's first integrated Smart Tx Audio Transmitter in over-ear headphones, this release sets a new industry benchmark. It's a testament to JBL's unwavering commitment to advancing sound technology and redefining what's possible in the listening experience.

The JBL Tour ONE M3 features JBL's newly developed 40mm Mica Dome drivers that are said to be "precisely tuned to deliver deep bass, balanced mids, and crystal-clear highs". With JBL Personi-Fi 3.0, you can set up a customised hearing profile by simply taking the hearing test in the JBL Headphones app. The new user experience and algorithm make Personi-Fi 3.0 more accurate than ever before, with a 12-band EQ and separate L/R balance optimisation.
They also feature JBL Spatial 360, which converts any movie and gaming content into an immersive cinematic experience. Combined with JBL True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, utilising an advanced 8-microphone system, the headphones create a space of complete focus by blocking out distractions, whether it's urban noise, a crowded office, or airplane engines.
Finally, the super-soft ear cushions filled with special foam improves passive noise cancellation while thoughtful construction creates a secure fit that boosts both comfort and acoustic performance. Battery life is said to be up to 70 hours of playback, with a 5-minute charge delivering an additional 5 hours of listening power, ensuring all-day use without interruption.

The JBL Tour ONE M3, including the JBL SMART Tx will be available in Black, Mocha and Blue on April 15, 2025 and will sell for €399.99 / US$399.95. You can also purchase without the SMART Tx dongle for €349.99 / US$349.95.
