Jamo C705PA MKII Active Speaker Expands C700 Series Range

Jamo has introduced the C705PA MKII, the latest addition to its colour-forward C700 Series of active speakers.

The release follows the C707PA MKII Active Bookshelf Speaker, which StereoNET reported on in August, further expanding Jamo’s colour-forward C700 Series of active designs. It’s a compact design with big-room energy, bringing Scandinavian style and modern connectivity to small spaces.

Positioned as the larger of two new models — alongside the ultra-compact mini MKII — the C705PA MKII continues Jamo’s effort to blend lifestyle-friendly proportions with serious audio credentials. It features a 4-inch Hybrid Composition Conical Cone woofer with a Long-Displacement Surround and a 1-inch positive dome tweeter, utilising Jamo’s Anti-Diffraction WaveGuide and Tweeter Distortion Reduction technologies. The combination aims to deliver punchy, articulate sound with a touch of warmth and the clarity for which the Danish brand is known.

Power is provided by a built-in 2 × 45-watt Class-D amplifier, while connectivity extends well beyond the basics. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, HDMI ARC, USB-C, optical, 3.5 mm, and RCA inputs are all featured, alongside a subwoofer output for simple 2.1-channel expansion. A three-band EQ (Low: 80 Hz, Mid: 1 kHz, High: 8 kHz) allows users to fine-tune the response to suit room acoustics or personal taste — a thoughtful addition in a category that often omits such control.

Designed for purpose-built versatility, the C705PA MKII maintains the sleek, colour-led design language that defines the C700 range. Available in seven finishes — including classic Matte White and High-Gloss Black, as well as vivid Yellow, Blue, and Green — it’s clearly aimed at users who want audio gear that looks as expressive as it sounds.

Further down the range, the mini MKII distils the same aesthetic and technology into a remarkably compact A6-sized enclosure. It features a 3-inch fibreglass woofer and a 0.75-inch tweeter with a Micro Horn WaveGuide, powered by a 2 × 35-watt Class-D amplifier. HDMI ARC, Bluetooth 5.3, USB audio, and 3.5 mm inputs ensure similar connectivity, while a dedicated sub output makes it easy to build a discreet yet full-bodied desktop or TV setup.

Together, the two new models underscore Jamo’s modern direction: accessible, design-led audio products that strike a balance between performance and practicality. They’re unashamedly contemporary — speakers made to fit the rhythm of everyday life rather than dominate it.

The Jamo C705PA MKII and mini MKII are available now in selected finishes. The C705PA MKII lists at US$549, with the mini MKII priced at US$349. Additional regional pricing will be confirmed shortly.
