IsoAcoustics zaZen Platform Launched

IsoAcoustics zaZen Isolation Platform Announced
The IsoAcoustics zaZen I and II are isolation platforms designed to protect turntables, tube amps, and other sensitive audio equipment from interference caused by vibrations and resonances. Apparently, the name zaZen is taken from Zen Buddhism and refers to sitting in peaceful meditation - just in case you were wondering.

The new zaZen models feature a medium-gloss black finish over a dense fibre construction. Naturally, IsoAcoustics’ patented isolation technology is integrated into the zaZen via their much-lauded isolators being recessed in the platform’s corners. We are told that this combination of mass from the dense platform and the IsoAcoustics isolators creates a high degree of isolation that promises to enable turntables and electronic components to perform at their absolute best.

The zaZen is available in two options with the differences being weight capacity and height. The zaZen I (£199.99) stands 30mm tall and has a weight capacity of up to 25 lbs (just over 11kgs) and is said to work well with lightweight hi-fi components and turntables. zaZen II (£229.99) works best with heavier equipment weighing up to 40 lbs (just over 18kgs) and stands slightly taller at 34mm. Both models are 432mm x 381mm (WxD).

IsoAcoustics’ founder, Dave Morrison, told StereoNET:
After the success of our DELOS platforms, we wanted to make a smaller platform designed for lighter turntables and hi-fi components. We are excited for the release of zaZen because we have been extremely happy with how it performs. It’s affordable and very effective. We can’t wait for people to try it for themselves.
The IsoAcoustics zaZen range will be available on September 30th, 2020 and costs £199.99 for the zaZen I and £229.99 for the zaZen II.
