To mark this year's International Women's Day, the Edinburgh-based high-end hi-fi distributor Renaissance is fundraising for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGS).
WAGGS represents over ten million girls and young women in 150 countries and has been an IWD Charity of Choice since 2007 and believes that each of them deserves to be the best they can be.
Renaissance is asking for donations to be made on its Just Giving page, where you will also get the chance to win a VPI Player turntable worth £1,500.

VPI has kindly donated a special edition of its Player turntable to help raise awareness of Renaissance's campaign. The Player turntable features a built-in phonostage and headphone amplifier, and it will come loaded with a VPI Shirley MM cartridge. Of course, the VPI Shirley is named after the New Jersey brand's matriarchal figure and grandmother of company president, Mat Weisfeld.
The winner of this excellent VPI bundle will just need to unpack, plug, and play.
John Carroll, Renaissance's owner, told StereoNET:
We are passionate about helping WAGGS as we are inspired by how they support so many girls and young women across the globe. On International Women's Day, we ask our friends, partners, and the industry to dig deep for such a worthy cause. We hope to raise at least £1,500. And the VPI Player is a prize definitely worth winning - don't forget to enter the draw!

The fundraising campaign is open until Tuesday 19th April.
The final amount raised and the name of the lucky winner of the VPI Player will be announced in Renaissance's monthly newsletter and on the Renaissance website on 19th April.
A great cause and a great prize. Good luck!
