HANDMADE IN FINLAND, AMPHION LOUDSPEAKERS NOW AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA

From Finland to Australia and recording studios around the world, Amphion is now available locally thanks to Adelaide based importer Magenta Audio.
Since 1998 Amphion has been designing and manufacturing loudspeakers, which they say are insensitive to problems of room acoustics. Using innovative waveguide technology and controlled dispersion helps you hear more of your music, and less of your room.

Clearly divided straight down the middle into two specific categories, 'Enjoy' is a range of HiFi speakers, while the 'Create' range is for pro audio and recording studio use.
Magenta will make available the Enjoy series to compliment their existing portfolio which includes PS Audio, PrimaLuna, Zu Audio, Soundsmith and more.
The Amphion Enjoy speaker range includes Argon 0 bookshelf speakers starting at $1,595, right through to the flagship Kryton 3 floor standing speakers (shown below) which will sell for $25,995. There's also a centre channel speaker and an inwall model to cater for home cinema and custom installation.

Mike Kirkham, Managing Director of Magenta Audio told StereoNET:
Amphion speakers are used by recording engineers and mastering engineers worldwide, and I use them myself in my own studio. We're very pleased to make the HiFi range of Amphion loudspeakers available in Australia. In our evaluations, these speakers sound every bit as good as they measure. They are extremely easy to drive and are detailed and musical.
StereoNET will be taking a closer look at specific models within the range soon.
