US based Clarity Speaker claim Clarity is the first 3-in-1 Android wireless touchscreen speaker with voice control.

Resembling PURE's Sensia which is nearly a decade old now, Clarity is far more intelligent.

It has two 5-watt speakers, is said to offer superb audio quality for Internet radio, plus Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality. It also works with Alexa & OK Google meaning you can control just about any smart-enabled device, including Philips Hue, ecobee, Wemo, and much more.

It's lightweight and portable and a single charge offers a reported 6 hours of music playback or 2.5 hours of video playback.

Running Android 5.1 and featuring a quad-core processor, and 16Gb internal memory, Clarity could very easily serve as the hub of your connected home entertainment, or your desktop or kitchen bench assistant.

The good? Such a clever product is only $109 USD. The bad? It's still being crowd-funded for delivery in June. At the time of wrting however Clarity has achieved 86% of the $50K target (in only a matter of days) with a month left. Needless to say, we've just put our order in.

We normally shy away from crowdfunded products, but the odd one certainly gets our attention.
