GARRARD 301 RETURNS IN STYLE AT MUNICH SHOW

Following SME's acquisition of the Garrard audio brand last year, an exciting new chapter for Garrard has begun.

A meticulously built Model 301 turntable combined in a unique package which includes the highly acclaimed SME M2-12R precision tonearm and new generation solid walnut isolation plinth was unveiled at the global event held in Germany.

The 301 still sports a die-cast aluminium chassis, and the rim-driven high mass balanced platter is powered by the renowned Garrard Engineering classic idler drive platform. The induction motor is spring-suspended and magnetically screened, and dual voltage ranges of 100 to 130 and 200 to 250 volts, 50 or 60 cycles are quoted.

Everything is wrapped in a handcrafted, solid walnut plinth with built-in isolation at the tonearm base, chassis and feet.

Wow and Flutter is stated at less than 0.2% and less than 0.05% respectively.
