The company has announced the Luna3, its debut turntable. Rather than overloading its first record player with gimmicks or retro flourishes, Fosi has taken a stripped-back, design-led approach. The Luna3 focuses on clean signal delivery, essential features, and future upgradeability—an ethos that may resonate with both new vinyl listeners and experienced Hi-Fi tinkerers.

Fosi Audio founder and CEO Ryan Huang commented on the development:

With Luna3, we wanted to return to the essence of vinyl: pure sound, meaningful design, and zero distractions.

The turntable features a matte-black integrated plinth, transparent acrylic platter, and a precision-machined tonearm, offering a minimalist aesthetic that aligns with Fosi’s “less is more” design philosophy. Importantly, the company has opted to omit a built-in phono stage, instead offering a pure analogue output that allows users to pair it with their preferred external preamp.

Key specifications include an Audio-Technica VM95E cartridge, copper motor head, manual anti-skating adjustment, and servo-controlled speed regulation rated at ±0.11%. The stylus and headshell are easily replaceable for users keen to mod their playback.

This marks a meaningful evolution in Fosi Audio’s product roadmap. Best known for its wallet-friendly, high-performance amplifiers like the BT20A Pro and V3 Mono, and more recently its i5 Headphones, the company has steadily carved out a niche among audiophiles seeking value without compromise. With Luna3, Fosi is clearly aiming to broaden its ecosystem—building out a modular Hi-Fi lineup that encourages listeners to grow their setup piece by piece.

That vision now includes the company’s first bookshelf speaker, the SP601, which StereoNET’s own Eric Teh recently explored in his first impressions review. It’s another sign that Fosi is steadily expanding from desktop separates to a more complete, room-filling Hi-Fi offering.

While we’ll reserve final judgement until we get hands-on, whether paired with Fosi’s own components or dropped into a more ambitious system, the Luna3 appears to offer a simple yet credible entry point into the vinyl experience, especially for those who value performance over polish and convenience.

The Luna3 will be available for pre-order via Kickstarter beginning July 31, 2025, priced at US$349.99. Early Bird backers will receive up to 25% off during the launch campaign.
