Experience Real Cinema at Home with West Coast HiFi Midland’s VIP Night

One of the undisputed destination stores in Western Australia for the ultimate stereo and cinema experience, West Coast HiFi in Midland, is throwing open its doors to readers on November 25th.

Celebrating the RISE AND RISE of the KRIX MX Wall of Sound, together with Trinnov processing, WC Midland wants to give you a first-hand experience at just what these brands can deliver.

Special Guest Don MacKenzie from Krix will be presenting the event, discussing all of the new exciting news and products, including the Krix MX30 Trinnov Room Demonstration. In their own words ... "What has to be the best combination on Earth in Real Cinema at Home will be on show. Be prepared to experience something incredible." You'll also be able to experience the Krix MX5 Dolby Atmos system demonstration.

Stereo hasn't been overlooked; WC Midland will also be showcasing the very best in high-end Hi-Fi, incredible demos and offers on the night from Audio Research, Yamaha 5000 full system, McIntosh, Sonus faber, Fyne Audio, Musical Fidelity, AURALiC, Technics, Rega and more.

And it all takes place right where the Krix MX story began, West Coast Hi-Fi Midland. Scott Stay, Manager and Owner of WC Midland, told StereoNET:

After an extensive vineyard tour in 2015 of McLaren Vale, South Australia, I was fortunate enough to head back to the Krix factory in Hackham where the godfather of surround sound himself Scott Krix, produced a document that would change real cinema at home forever.

It was the first drawing of the now-famous Krix MX-30 Wall of Sound. I still remember like it was yesterday. I asked if it goes behind a woven screen like the Series X and commercial cinema speakers? Scott's answer was Yes… He explained that the modular design with its own baffle wall will be easier to install and will save time and money on extensive baffle work and positioning. Without hesitation, I asked Scott how long it would take to make one. Just a few short weeks later, we launched the MX-30 at West Coast HiFi Midland with over 100 people in the store, and as they say in the classics, the rest is history.
