EXCLUSIVE: Focal and Naim Announce New Distributor for Australia & New Zealand

This year, the brand distribution merry-go-round in Australia and New Zealand has been again given an almighty spin. But more recently, all eyes have been focused on two iconic brands, Naim and Focal.
At the Munich High End show back in May, the talk of the town among the strongly-represented Aussie contingent in attendance was that the Australian distributor, Busisoft AV, which has represented Naim and Focal since May 2019, had walked away from the brands, or been dropped, depending on who you were speaking to.
Some four months later, we can now exclusively reveal that Melbourne-based Westan Group has been appointed as the new distributor of Focal and Naim in Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately.

VerVent Audio, the parent company of the flagship French brand Focal and leading English electronics brand Naim Audio, says it is "accelerating its presence in Oceania, continuing to promote the know-how and excellence of its brands and preparing for 2024, which will be full of new products".
VerVent also says the new agreement is "more than just a commercial partnership. This collaboration is anchored in a long-term vision and the sharing of strong values. VerVent Audio and Westan Group place experience, quality of service and customer satisfaction at their core."
Westan, established in 1989, not only represents brands and manages logistics but also has strong product and technical training foundations, working closely with its specialist retailers. Westan adds, "the sales teams are supported by a technical support department, spread across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland".
We look forward to the future success of Naim and Focal in Australia and New Zealand and, more importantly, stability for the brand's supporting dealers and customers in the region.
