It’s the first Australian arrival from the company’s evolving “Lifestudio” direction. We reported on earlier this year when Epson USA announced its Bose-backed lifestyle projection range and now the Aussie market is getting the fully realised version.
The EH-LS670B is designed to sit just centimetres from the wall while throwing an image up to 120 inches, positioning it as a one-box alternative to a TV-and-soundbar setup. Epson leans on its established strengths here: 3-chip 3LCD architecture for colour accuracy, 3,600 lumens of colour and white brightness for daytime viewing, and a quoted contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1. HDR10 processing and the company’s 4K PRO-UHD pixel-shifting engine round out the picture package, with an emphasis on detail, tone, and brightness rather than chasing the laser-light-show look of some rivals.

Audio is where this model breaks from the usual UST formula. The 20W 2.1-channel system is tuned by Bose and supported by Dolby Audio, offering surprisingly robust output compared to the thin, echo-prone presentation that plagues many lifestyle projectors. Four bespoke sound modes give users control over EQ settings, allowing them to tailor the sound to their viewing preferences, from action films to casual streaming.

Smart integration is handled by Google TV, meaning Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, and other popular platforms are built-in. Still worth noting, given that Netflix certification isn’t guaranteed in the projector world. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual HDMI inputs round out a connectivity package designed to seamlessly integrate into an existing home setup. Gamers get Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for more responsive play, something that’s increasingly expected in this category.

Epson’s focus on simplicity continues through setup. Using the Epson Setting Assistant app, a phone camera can automatically correct geometry and alignment in seconds. The laser light source is rated for up to 20,000 hours, and the chassis features a clean, low-profile aesthetic designed to blend seamlessly with modern interiors rather than dominate them. The company is also introducing broader AI-driven picture tuning across this model, including Dynamic Colour Booster, AIPQ scene analysis, enhanced contrast handling and reduced banding. Epson positions these as refinements rather than gimmicks, supporting the natural colour tone that remains a defining trait of its 3LCD platform.

For Australia and New Zealand, the EH-LS670B arrives at A$4,199 | NZ$4,499 and is available now through Epson and Epson partners.
