DIGIBIT RELEASES ARIA PICCOLO+ MUSIC SERVER

Now in its third generation, Digibit has announced the availability of its new full-sized Aria Piccolo+ music server.
The focus of the Aria Piccolo+ music server series is to make the technology simple to use. All it takes is to simply open up the iaria app on your tablet (iOS or Android) and then start playing music. Nothing could be easier.

Furthermore, they tell us that they have the best metadata retrieval in the market with extended metadata fields. This means that you can sort your music collection in multiple ways which is a particular bonus if you are a lover of classical and orchestral music as this opens up options. For example, sorting albums by Period, Conductor, Soloist, or Instrument, for instance. This is an area where other music library management applications have fallen short.
The Aria Piccolo+ has 18 predefined fields that automatically matches the tagging structure of their proprietary classical music database, SonataDB. For any other music genre, all fields can be manually created and tagged.
The Aria Piccolo+ boasts completely silent operation so that you can enjoy its Bit-perfect playback, multizone support, and multichannel PCM and DSD support. It can also stream to your tablet or Airplay compatible devices. Also, through the magic of Airplay and DNLA, you can enjoy your preferred streaming service providers and internet radio
.
The Aria Piccolo+ is constructed from a 6mm thick precision machined aluminium chassis. The internal DAC comes with balanced and unbalanced analogue audio outputs and supports up to 32Bit/384KHz and DoP and DSD256 native support. Coax, USB, AES/EBU digital outputs and RCA / XLR analogue outputs covers connectivity.
The server is offered with a 3TB HDD disk as standard, but a 1TB or 2TB SSD is optionally available. A fully automatic CD Ripper (insert & rip) is also available.
Prices start at 2,090 Euros + VAT (where applicable).
