Connected-Fidelity Float Isolation Pucks

Connected-fidelity's Float range eschews compliant or damping materials in favour of 'floating' spheres held within two circular, cup-shaped channels.

We are told that, within their rigid, anodised aluminium two-part body sits a non-resonant material 'cage' that holds the balls apart set in a bespoke ball race manufactured from chromium steel.

A trio of POM spheres set into each 49mm diameter puck's top and bottom faces act as 'feet' to ensure stability. Connected-fidelity states that the Float puck's design ensures that vibrational energy is 'spent' in the micro-movements of these spheres without losing a direct connection path between the component and the surface on which it is placed.

We're assured that sliding these 23mm high pucks under your equipment enhances musical clarity across all frequencies, resulting in more musical and less 'muddy' bass notes and a wider and deeper sound stage.

Optional 2.5mm 'coasters' (one is supplied as standard with each unit) can be incorporated above or below each Float puck. For loudspeakers up to 30kg, speaker connectors are offered with threaded fixing options (M6 and M8). However, for loudspeakers over 30kg, a dedicated Float set featuring chrome steel balls in place of the POM spheres ensures no deformation over time under that weight.

Available now in black or silver, Float isolation pucks are supplied in sets of three (£346) and four (£399), with additional coaster sets also available (£122 for three, £149 for four). Loudspeaker sets (for loudspeakers over 30kg) are £599 and contain four pucks, coasters, and M6 or M8 connectors.
