Chord Company now offers USB-C cables for the first time, bringing the brand's renowned performance to everyday devices used for audio playback, such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

The two new USB-C cables offer a high-quality audio connection from a trusted brand and boast "premium materials and expert craftsmanship."

The C-USB (above) is touted as a "budget-friendly option ideal for everyday users, newcomers and gifting." Meanwhile, the Clearway USB (below) is positioned as a step-up yet affordable option "designed for enthusiasts."

The C-USB benefits from heavy-gauge oxygen-free silver-plated conductors for optimum signal transfer, dual-layer high-frequency shielding to minimise unwanted interference, and gold-plated connectors that avoid tarnishing/corrosion.

The new Clearway USB adds alloy-sleeved connectors for improved plug-shielding, high-bandwidth silver-plated oxygen-free conductors, plus double-layer foil shielding with high-density braid for enhanced protection from RF interference. The Clearway terminations also benefit from Chord Company's non-compression strain relief system to maintain cable integrity at the plug.

The new USB-C cables expand the existing Clearway and C-line ranges, which already offer a variety of USB terminations. Adding USB-C dramatically increases the range of devices benefiting from Chord Company audio quality.

The C-USB is priced at £57.50 for 0.5 m, and the Clearway USB costs £115 for 0.5 m. Both are available in C-C/A-C/C-B termination options and lengths up to 3 metres.
