Campfire Audio Astrolith IEMs Announced

Campfire Audio's 'tip of the spear' Astrolith IEMs join its range of beautifully crafted earphones.
Campfire Audio boasts that "Astrolith represents the most refined and enhanced acoustic-shaping geometrics of any in-ear monitors on the market today."

If you want to cut to the chase, why not check out our review of Campfire Audio's Astrolith right now?
Campfire Audio is so certain about Astrolith's performance due to the company's new Additive Acoustic Optical Inclusion housing (AAOI), which means that those stunning casings offer more than just aesthetic excellence; they also contribute acoustic performance.

The stainless steel shells, hand-polished to a mirror finish, sport "optically inclusive internal chambers" within a transparent exterior. This creates a gem-like effect while also allowing a sneak peek within from various angles.
The Astrolith features custom 14.2mm planar magnetic drivers specially designed to support sub-low, low, and midrange frequencies and a custom 6mm planar magnetic tweeter for high frequencies.

Meanwhile, the brand claims that the crossover-less design and internal chambers within are carefully engineered to create precisely controlled acoustic volumes and ensure the targeted vision for sonic performance.
Campfire Audio says it has used its technical know-how to ensure the components' ability to move at incredible speeds, drawing out clean, accurate details and overall acoustic resolution that presents tracks with life-like realism and detail on every layer of your music. The manufacturer discloses an SPL of 94 dB @ 1kHz: 44.90 mVrms.

Furthermore, we are informed that Astrolith's impedance (@1K 8.2 ohm) is incredibly flat, producing the most balanced, accurate sound possible. Thanks to the use of planar technology, the IEM's voice coil has less than 0.3% harmonic distortion. The even diaphragm movement of the IEM's voice coil ensures it does not warp or bend at high volumes.
Campfire Audio states a 5 Hz - 25kHz frequency response and a THD of less than .3%.

Astrolith is bundled with a black leather folding wallet - handmade in Portugal, a 3.5mm and 4.4mm TimeStream cable, a 'Breezy Bag Micro' two-pocket mesh pouch, a selection of silicone and foam ear tips, an IEM Cleaning Tool, and Campfire Audio Lapel Pin.
Campfire Audio Astrolith is available now for £2,199/ €2,399 RRP.
