Børresen's X1 stand-mounted two-way loudspeaker becomes the smallest model in the X-series and the entry model to the Børresen loudspeaker universe, joining the X3 floorstander, amongst others.

The X1 measures 42 x 20 x 39cm (HxWxD) and is "tailored for lovers of exceptionally designed stand-mounted speakers. " According to the Danish brand, the Børresen X1 is a blend of cutting-edge technologies adopted from the M, O, and Z loudspeaker series, alongside the Børresen X-Series ribbon tweeter and a 4.5-inch Børresen X-Series speaker driver.

We are told that this combines to produce a 50Hz-50kHz frequency response, claimed 86 dB / 1W sensitivity and >6 Ohm impedance rating.

Michael Børresen told StereoNET:
The X1 is a testament to our dedication to pushing the boundaries of audio excellence. We've engineered a compact loudspeaker that doesn't compromise on delivering an immersive and emotional musical experience.

As with all X series speakers, the new X1 is available in black or white piano lacquer.
The Børresen X1 is available from March and priced at €5,000 per pair. The X1 stands are a €1,000 option.
