Bel Canto Has A New Singer

In what’s becoming a musical chair syndrome, brands that were with one supplier have found a better home with someone else. High end boutique brand Bel Canto now has a vibrant new home with 'Absolute Hi End' taking on the distribution for Australia.

Bel Canto products have until now flown under the radar. Absolute H iEnd will lift Bel’s profile pointing out the brand’s ethos carried by its Class-D amps is as much about great sound and reliability as it is about saving the planet. The latest Bel amps are not energy hungry and don’t waste power producing heat. They’s rather use what they generate to drive your loudspeakers.
Melbourne-based distributor Absolute Hi End is now the official Australian distributor for Bel Canto Design, which is based in the USA.
The well-reviewed REF1000 MkII Class-D amplifier uses tailor-made input circuits that are wonderfully low-noise and can easily handle music’s macro and micro dynamics.
Absolute Hi End will be show-casing the Black from Bel Canto products which include the ASC-1 Asynchronous Stream Controller and MPS1 Monobloc PowerStream amplifier.
Both are ultra low noise models using a wide-bandwidth ‘StreamLink’ ST fibre cable connecting the ASC-1 to the two MPS1 PowerStream Monobloc amplifiers.
"This is the way to a pure, noiseless perfect signal distribution. You’ll hear zero noise and you can put the AC-1 controller metres away from the amplifiers and the signal is as pure at the output stage as it was fed to the input," said Boris Granovsky, of Absolute Hi End.’'
