National AV Solutions (NAVS) has confirmed it has begun transitioning the Barco Residential portfolio to Jay Vee Technologies this month. During a six-month handover period, both companies will have access to the range, with Jay Vee Technologies taking full control of sales, distribution and technical support from 30 June 2026.

The move is designed to ensure continuity for Barco Residential’s specialist dealer and integrator network, with NAVS and Jay Vee Technologies working alongside Barco throughout the first half of the year to manage the changeover. Existing warranties, service commitments and active projects will remain in place during the transition.

Barco Residential occupies a niche at the top end of the private cinema and luxury-home market, with a portfolio that includes professional-grade projectors and its Architectural Digital Canvas LED display systems, used in high-end media rooms, dedicated cinemas and bespoke residential installations.

NAVS managing director Claver Harper said the company had played a key role in establishing the brand in the region over the past decade:

National AV Solutions is proud to have built Barco Residential from a new brand back in 2016 to the premium display for any high-end home cinema installation.”This would not be possible without the support of all our wonderful dealers and the international team from Barco Residential. We trust that Jay Vee Technologies will continue to build the brand.

Jay Vee Technologies is best known in the Australian AV industry for its work across premium home cinema, residential integration and professional display technologies, making it a natural fit for Barco Residential’s design-led, high-performance positioning.

John Vanderbenghe, Director of Jay Vee Technologies, said the company sees the appointment as an opportunity to extend Barco’s footprint in the luxury residential sector:

Barco Residential represents the pinnacle of luxury imaging, and we are excited to take on this responsibility. Our team is committed to building on NAVS’s strong foundation while delivering exceptional service and innovation to the market.

For integrators and end-users, the transition is intended to be largely invisible. NAVS will continue to provide support during the handover period, with coordinated communications planned to ensure channel partners experience minimal disruption as the portfolio moves to Jay Vee Technologies.

NAVS will remain active in the high-end AV market through its broader brand portfolio, which includes Wisdom Audio, madVR, Display Technologies and Torus Power, among others, while Jay Vee Technologies takes on the Barco Residential business moving forward.
