Audio Active Brings Valerion Home Cinema Projectors to Australia

Audio Active has announced it will become the exclusive Australian distributor for Valerion, the premium home cinema projector brand from AWOL Vision.
The agreement adds another high-performance name to the Port Melbourne-based distributor’s expanding portfolio of specialist AV brands.

Valerion, established as the high-end division of AWOL Vision, focuses on long-throw RGB laser projection for dedicated home theatres. Its VisionMaster series — including the flagship VisionMaster Max and VisionMaster Pro 2 — has attracted global acclaim, earning a prestigious Red Dot Design Award and multiple Editor’s Choice distinctions from leading international publications, recognising its combination of technical innovation and refined industrial design.
Bruce Thierbach, General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Audio Active, told StereoNET the partnership reinforces the company’s focus on delivering premium solutions to Australia’s high-end home cinema market:
Valerion’s dedication to uncompromising picture quality, innovative features, and striking design aligns perfectly with our commitment to offering premium AV solutions to our clients. We believe this partnership will give our dealers an outstanding product for delivering the ultimate cinematic experience.

Designed for purpose-built theatres, Valerion’s projectors employ advanced optical assemblies, precision-engineered lenses, and RGB triple-laser light engines capable of producing 4K imagery up to 300 inches. With brightness levels reaching up to 3,500 ISO lumens and colour reproduction exceeding 110 percent of the Rec.2020 gamut, the VisionMaster range delivers exceptional depth, clarity, and realism even in challenging light conditions. Combined with dynamic contrast control, intelligent lens shift, and quiet operation, Valerion systems are engineered to deliver professional-grade visuals in a refined, residential form factor.

Andy Zhao, CEO and founder of AWOL Vision — Valerion’s parent company — described Australia as a key growth market for premium home entertainment:
Partnering with Audio Active allows us to bring Valerion’s next-generation laser projection technology to passionate home cinema enthusiasts who demand the best.
The minimalist design integrates Google TV for intuitive streaming access, positioning the range as a bridge between professional-grade performance and everyday usability.

The new line will debut at Audio Active’s Port Melbourne experience centre, where dealers and customers will be able to experience Valerion’s immersive picture quality first-hand. Australian availability and pricing details are expected to be confirmed soon.
