Established by brothers Zheng Cai and Zheng Xi, the company has gained worldwide acclaim for its unwavering commitment to high-fidelity audio. With a background in engineering and development (especially Cai's previous role as General Manager and Chief Engineer at audio equipment and Hi-Fi manufacturer Cayin), the brothers started Line Magnetic with the goal of reviving the sonic excellence of classic designs from Western Electric, Altec, and Jensen. What began as a specialised restoration and replication workshop has now evolved into a globally recognised manufacturer of high-end tube amplifiers, sources, and loudspeakers.

Today, Line Magnetic products are meticulously crafted in dedicated facilities, emphasising point-to-point wiring and an unwavering commitment to high-quality manufacturing. The company’s amplifiers, preamplifiers, CD players, DACs, and loudspeakers are respected among audiophiles for their ability to capture the essence of vintage audio while incorporating modern refinements.

So with a recent hiatus from the Australian market, Line Magnetic has reestablished its presence through Angelic Sound, ensuring local enthusiasts once again have access to these highly regarded components while also providing new customers a chance to discover and experience the brand for the first time.
